Service Path problem

Hi,

I'm setting up Magelia on the same machine as Orchard. I'm trying to setup the orchard plugin and need to provide the Store ID and Services Path. I'm running the community edition of Magelia.

The StoreID is : dcafd470-b122-11e0-a00b-0800200c9a66
The root for orchard is: http://localhost:1817/ The root for Magelia is: http://localhost:36363/ I can't seem to get the configuration of the module connecting to Magelia. I've tried the following services paths:
  • http://localhost:36363/administration/services/
From what I've read the first one should work.

What am I doing wrong and what else can I try??

Thanks!

Hi,

If you access the "Magelia WebStore Administration Console" using http://localhost:36363/ the services path should be http://localhost:36363/services/ (the final "/" doesn't matter).

Do you have any error message ? Could you tell us what error did you obtain ?
The following url http://localhost:36363/services/Administration/Heartbeat.svc/ping should return "true", is this the case ? if not, what is the error message ?

Hi Cyril,

http://localhost:36363/services/Administration/Heartbeat.svc/ping returns true with no error message. I can view the admin screens of Magelia just fine.

When I click "Test" from the Orchard Magelia module setup screen it returns the error: 'An error has occured, please make sure that the specified parameters are valid.'

Could it be the colon and port number? the sites are being served by IIS8 Express through WebMatrix for dev. Could this be the issue?

Hi,

Could you verify that the storeId is correct and that the store is active. Also, could you run the "data update" command (available on product > data update).

If it doesn't correct the problem, could you check the log. Logs can be found on "platform setting > Technical Logs" and in the windows Event log (eventvwr).

Hi. It must be a Web Matrix issue as I've set it up on a proper webserver and every thing is fine.
