The website settings allow you to define important settings concerning your e-commerce store.

Website ID: The website ID is the internal name or ID of your website as it appears on the top left of the screen.

Default back-office culture: Default back-office culture tells the system which language to display when a user logs into the system.

Default front-office culture: Default front office culture is optional information that indicates which country and language the front-office website should use. The choice of a culture (shipping country + language + currency + decimal separator + currency position) is usually necessary to apply taxes and display relevant prices.

Unit of Weight: This data will display the unit in the product data.

Website domain name: optional information that allows storing and recalling from the database the website domain name.

Default currency: The default currency setting can be useful to display product prices if more than one currency is supported by your website and if you cannot detect the culture (country + language) of a visitor.

Active: Indicates whether your website is active or not.

Analytics identifier: this optional information enables you to store the identifier of the analytics that you implement. You will of course also need to implement code and methods to call this identifier from your website.

Webmaster Tool code: this optional information enables you to store the identifier of your Google webmasters tool account. Implementing code and methods to call this identifier are required to collect info. You will of course also need to implement code and methods to call this identifier from your website.

Map API code: this optional information enables you to store the identifier of your Bing or Google Maps API access account. Implementing code and methods to call this identifier are required to collect info. You will of course also need to implement code and methods to call this identifier from your website.

Website name: this optional information enables you to store the identifier that your website analytics will use. Implementing code and methods to call this identifier are required to collect info.

Website state: indicates whether the website is active. This parameter was designed to enable you to put the store offline very quickly. To work properly, further configuration and code implementation is required on your website.

Available currencies: Select the currencies that your website offers. This is an important parameter and we suggest that you pay attention to it.

Back-office language: Defines the back-offices languages that are available. At the time of writing (Marc 2011 – v0.1), the back-office is only available in English and French.

Front office Language: Define here the languages proposed on your website.
