3.3 Configuration files

Once everything is deployed, you must configure the environment by editing web.config files.

3.3.1 Services

Move to the services folder and open the web.config file.

Under the Generic section of the Magelia section group, you must fill in the "path" attribute of the Upload element. This should point to the folder where content elements will be uploaded.

Then, under the connectionStrings section, fill each the connectionString attribute for each element, providing the connection string to your Magelia_WebStore database.

Finally, fill the mailSettings section of the system.net section group depending on the method you want e-mails to be sent.

3.3.2 Extranet

Move to the extranet folder and open the web.config file.

Under the Generic section of the Magelia section group, you must fill in the "path" attribute of the Upload element. This should point to the folder where content elements will be uploaded.

Under the Runtime sub-section of the WebStore section in the Magelia section group, fill in the physicalPath and urlBase attributes of the fileProvider element. This will be used by the Extranet to store and display media files.

Under the connectionStrings section, fill each the connectionString attribute for each element, providing the connection string to your Magelia_WebStore database.

Fill the mailSettings section of the system.net section group depending on the method you want e-mails to be sent.

Finally, under the client section of the system.serviceModel section group, set the address attribute of each endpoint element, making it point to your WebStore services.
